At no time will I admit to transforming, Hulk-like, into a ravening alcoholic the minute I live alone. However, I will admit that there’s a bottle of Hoegaarden in my Irish stew.
And I just put a glassful of Smirnoff into my marinara sauce.
But I don’t think it proves anything.
Meh - cooking with alcohol makes you a good cook and not an alcoholic. Now, if you said you’d drank the bottle of Hoegaarden while looking up the recipe for irish stew and downed a glass of Smirnoff straight up making marinara sauce (instead of irish stew) we might be concerned
…So it would be bad if dessert was spiced rum, then.
Not that I’m saying it was.
