All your favourite films use exactly the same animation. Take that, kids!

Being surrounded by French language television, I have to begrudgingly admit that sometimes the dubbed voices for my favourite shows are funnier in French than the originals in English. Not always, mind you, but noticeable now and then.
I was really hoping to find the Québec-dubbed version of the above clip, because there’s something about the way that Todd yells out “Aujourd’hui c’est samedi” within the little bit of time allowed that comes off as very, very funny. But since YouTube doesn’t have it, I just captured the audio myself instead. Enjoy!

Chœur: Hens love roosters, geese love ganders, everyone else loves Ned Flanders!
Homer: Je ne l’aime pas!
Chœur: Everyone who counts loves Ned Flanders!
Chœur: Hens love roosters, geese love ganders, everyone else loves Ned Flanders!
To whomever finally greenlighted the DVD release of Joe Schmo 2, history’s smartest, funniest, and most entertaining reality show ever created, I have one thing to say.
May I give you a pearl necklace?

Why do I find this so amusing? It looks like it might hurt.
If BC-STV fails to pass today, I, personally, shall very likely go into a funk for the forseeable future.
After all, if proportional representation can’t pass in a province where it’s demonstrably sorely needed election after election after election, then what hope is there for the rest of the country?
So, anyone living in B.C—ask yourself: Do you want to put someone you, in all likelihood, haven’t met or don’t see very often, into a funk? I didn’t think so.
Update: Devestating news! What the hell happened? Fewer people than last time? What is wrong with people?
